What is IDFest?

Inspired by Indonesia's rich and vibrant heritage, Persatuan Pelajar Indonesia Universiti Malaya (PPI-UM) proudly presents IDFEST 2026. A cultural festival dedicated to honouring, celebrating, and sharing the beauty of Indonesia with the world.

IDFEST is more than a cultural event. It is an immersive journey where a Musical Drama and Art Exhibition converge to tell the story of Indonesia; a stage where past meets present, and cultural pride comes alive.

Meet Our MascotTora the Tarsius!

Inspired by the Tarsius, a primate native to Sulawesi, his name is a blend of TORAJA and LONTARA. With his wide, curious eyes and vibrant spirit, he embodies both the rich wisdom of ancestral traditions and the curiosity to explore new horizons.

He proudly wears a miniature Bella Dada, the traditional attire of South Sulawesi men. When taking a break from his adventures, he enjoys Es Pisang Ijo as his favorite treat, savoring its sweet, refreshing flavor that reminds him of home.
